Shopping Tomorrow was initiated in 2013 by Thuiswinkel.org and is now supported by 15+ Dutch industry and interest groups.
In the City Logistics expert group, transporters, buyers, shippers, hub operators and researchers come together to map out the problem field, come up with solutions and take concrete steps. More than 20 experts from these chain parties, supplemented with scientists specialized in this field, set to work on the research question: How do we stimulate bundled transport of goods flows into the city from city hubs to business recipients to help achieve zero-emission targets for Dutch cities?
