Development Inner City of Roosendaal

How does a medium-sized city like Roosendaal remain attractive for visitors? With this question, alderman Cees Lok opened the Co Design session on Thursday, May 23, 2019. In addition to representatives from the municipality of Roosendaal, property owners and entrepreneurs, live cartoonist Michiel van de Pol was also present.

After a substantive exploration, the participants set to work with this theme. Ideas were exchanged with each other to come together in different directions for solutions. The session ended with a presentation per theme of the different solutions. An important basis has been laid for further elaboration in September.

The reactions of the participants were very positive: 'It is good to think about this type of important issue with various parties. Surprising new ideas arise. That is the power to come together in a plan that will make our city center future-proof.'
