On Thursday January 30 and Friday January 31 nation-wide education strikes have been announced. Commissioned by De Onderwijsspecialisten Comic House dispatched a small army of live cartoonists to 14 different locations in the Netherlands, to support schools in their communication and consultation.

All over the country calls have been made for a national strike on Thursday 30 and Friday 31 January 2020 in primary and secondary education. National relay strikes have taken place in education in the past year. With these actions, attention has been drawn to the high workload in education and the gap in salary between primary and special education on the one hand, and secondary education on the other. The actions of the announced two-day strike focus on structural investments in education.

The (literally) involved live cartoonists are Coen Braber, Floor de Goede, Maaike Hartjes, Gerrit de Jager, Michiel van de Pol, Peter Koch, Hans Klaver, Gertjan Kleijne, Floris Oudshoorn, Hajo de Reijger, Ben Westervoorde and Marion van de Wheel.
