The overarching goal of the conference was to ensure that all children with a developmental delay in the Dutch provinces of Groningen and Drenthe can attend school, or receive some form of education. The participating parties want to learn what is needed on a municipal level and immediately take important first steps towards smooth cooperation. So that every child with a care need receives appropriate education and school dropout is prevented.
