intake and briefing
A successful session hinges on a proper briefing. We usually arrange a conference call in which we discuss all the details of the event together with client and cartoonist. After this call we confirm the details to all parties involved. If necessary or convenient, it is also possible to organize a briefing on location.
It is important that we have all relevant information on what the course of a session or event will be. Do we start with a plenary session? Are small brainstorming groups being formed thereafter? Are we working in one confined space or spread over several? By asking these types of questions, we can determine the best approach for each session.
agenda and timeline
It is recommended to discuss the agenda in advance with the cartoonist. What time and where do we start? How do we conclude the event? What is the central theme? These details make clarify quickly what the goals to be achieved are, or which themes have priority.
