Live cartoonist Gertjan Kleijne is in Utrecht on the occasion of the dcypher symposium, which shows what is happening in the implementation of the National Cyber Security Research Agenda (NCSRA) on the basis of concrete research or education projects, and how dcypher gives substance to the task in the field of cyber security higher education. Important sub-themes are digital sovereignty (or self-reliance) and the national cyber security higher education agenda ("leading towards strengthening the cyber security workforce"). Through the symposium program, dcypher wants to talk to the participants about these sub-themes.
The Symposium offers opportunities for knowledge sharing through meetings and exhibitions. The program offers space for meetings and interaction between current and future NCSRA implementers (researchers), teachers, potential buyers of cyber security knowledge, representatives of governments, and so on. The symposium has an international character by also inviting foreign partners who are already collaborating with Dutch knowledge institutions in research projects under the flag of the NCSRA, or with which a cooperative relationship may possibly be entered into in the future.
The Dutch Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) finances top researchers, directs Dutch science through programs and manages (inter) national knowledge infrastructure. The NWO promotes world-class scientific research with scientific and social impact.
